The forest loves us.

This time remember to bring your mushroom knife and basket before you set off to wander through the forest. There's an abundance at your feet. As soon as the scent of porcini starts to tantalise your senses, the first thing to think about is the right red wine to pair with them. The silky Corvina Veronese costs less than ten euros. How about a Dolcetto d'Alba or a Langhe Nebbiolo? The Ribera del Duero is also a must. So much wine, so little time. Enjoy the walk home in the fresh air with a rumbling stomach. Happy collecting!
