We have a nerd milestone to celebrate. We have achieved the goal of assembling single-vineyard wines from each of Sancerre’s three major soil types.
Les Grand Champs: Planted on the limestone-rich Calcaires de Buzançais (also known as Caillottes), brings forth a Sancerre that is fresh, light, aromatic, and delightfully vibrant, with a crisp mineral edge.
Clos Paradis: Nestled in soils of Terres Blanches, which is Kimmeridgian marl, this vineyard yields a wine that is full-bodied, structured, and rich, offering depth and a luxurious texture.
Clos de Bannon: Grown on Silex (flint) soils, this Sancerre exudes a smoky, mineral-driven character, with sharp acidity and an ageworthy complexity that only this terroir can deliver.
