WEINGUT HEUSSLER & TÖCHTER

A small family winery in one of the northernmost villages on the Southern Wine Route has been taken over by two ambitious daughters and the sparks are flying! Checkout their cascade of innovations: a new type of sparkling wine - a Gelber Muskateller Pet Nat, Chardonnay spontaneously fermented in a half piece with long yeast contact, spontaneous Pinot Noir and we have heard of a new Riesling in the works. The new wines from single vineyards carry the additional designation “& Daughters”. They say the Palatinate is German Tuscany, but when you look at the Heussler winery it looks more like Burgundy. Meanwhile, Jürgen Heussler is busy distilling and bringing home the trophies. Gin-City!
