A cuvée as everybody knows is a a cellar blend. "Der kleine françois", or the little françois, is named for François Breinville, the founding father of the Braunewell family. When he fled from France to Germany, he brought all his wine culture with him. This cuvée was assembled with selections of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder, St. Laurent and Portugieser.
