The Clos de Bannon is a walled single vineyard in the hamlet of Bannon near Bué with a preponderance of flintstone. Product of spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts this Sancerre is aged on its lees in steel tanks. In the winter the Fouassier family keeps their sheep here. We would classify this as a Grand Cru of Sancerre.
