There is a lot of Nero d'Avola in Sicily, but this one from Agrigento vibrates strongly in the frequency range of authenticity. We think we have come very close to the ancient Greek origins of this grape variety. The wine tastes and smells of cherries, pepper and eucalyptus, and it is organic too.
